By the power of Greyskull! Oops, wrong franchise.

Conan Exiles is coming to the Xbox Game Preview program on August 16 along with a massive free expansion update on the same day which primises a huge new land to explore, bringing the game out of the desert and into the cold, frozen highlands in the north.

Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game set in the savagely harsh lands of “Conan the Barbarian.” You are and exile, sentenced to death for crimes committed and crusified to the exiled lands, a harsh desert, where you must build and dominate the lands around you to survive.

The explorable world within Conan Exiles is huge, made even more so by the dangers throughout. Forgotten and ancient ruins tainted by ancient evil, fend off thirst and starvation, defend against corrupted monsters, build castles and war with enemy players as you battle for supremacy.

The free expansion update is adding over 50% to the available play area. Dragging your tanned backside from the sun-drenched deserts of the base game, to explore vast forests and towering mountain-tops. There’s new enemies, new resources, new building pieces, and more.

Now, its on Early Access on PC, it’s been updated many times, lots of bugs have been ironed out and the introduction of new content like dungeons, siege weapons, a dyeing system, new building pieces, new furniture, grenades, and more…..those all important “Dance” emotes. All said, this stands as one of the better Early Access games I’ve every played, visually and gameplay. Because the game has had the time to mature on PC, Xbox gamers will get to reap the rewards, its bigger, it’s better….it’s still missing sun lotion tho.

Conan Exiles will be in Xbox Game Preview until early 2018, when the game will release in full, and will be an Xbox One X Enhanced title when the console lands on my doorstep this autumn.
